Pelham Elementary PTO

Welcome to the Pelham PTO Web site! The PTO's mission is to help parents and the community understand and support the mission of the school; to encourage participation in the life of the school; to create a sense of community among parents, children, teachers, and the town; and to create happy memories for our children.

The Pelham Elementary School PTO is an involved group of parents who actively support the school. Popular PTO events include the Halloween party, the fall book fair, movie nights, the student variety show, staff appreciation day, and the spring fair. Proceeds from PTO events help the school purchase needed equipment, offset the cost of field trips, and fund cultural enrichment programs. The PTO’s goals are:

  • to be a clearinghouse of information about the school curriculum, programs, and policies;
  • to initiate parental participation in classroom programs and extracurricular activities; and
  • to support school fundraising efforts.

All parents are invited to participate in any area listed above and/or to suggest new ways the PTO can work to benefit our school. The Pelham PTO meets the first Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the school’s faculty room. Agendas are posted in the Pelham Press the week before each meeting.
